Your Questions Answered

New Local Response Plans

Though RNR was originally developed to deal with disasters on a major scale, we recognize that local tragedies need to be addressed as well. Flooding, fires and severe snowstorms are traumatic events. Many responders are already working hard in their communities to bring relief. Please contact us for guidance on how to handle situations in your area. Educational materials that cover all types of disasters are currently in development and will be available soon.

RNR E-zine Launched

Now, you can find out the very latest information about our activities plus feature pieces by and about our responders. If you haven't received a copy of the latest E-zine, you may download it in our Press Room.

New Training Class and Materials

We are excited to announce that the development and launch of educational materials is in its final stages. More details soon.

Additional Coordinators Added

We now have 50 state and regional coordinators serving the United States, Canada, Latin America, the Pacific Rim and New Zealand. These individuals are developing relationships with local performers and evaluating the present and possible future needs of their communities. In the future, they will become the main point of contact for volunteers in their regions.

American Red Cross Recognition

Red Nose Response has been officially recognized by the Red Cross as an organization working in support of its efforts. This formal relationship will provide our responders with the training before and access to affected areas following a disaster. We are working on similar agreements with The Salvation Army and other humanitarian organizations.
